With Punch & Judy, live music, dance, Trampolines, inflatables, sideshows and other activities, it promises to be a hit with all ages.

Tasters available

Are you thinking of having reflexology or some other treatment but aren’t sure if it’s for you – or even if you’ll like it? Then, why not have a taster session.

Tasters are a great way to try a therapy without committing yourself. At a fraction of the cost of a full treatment, a taster usually lasts between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the treatment and during that time, you get to find out if it’s right for you.

At The Almond Tree Practice, we offer tasters in Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Thai Foot Massage and Back Massage.

The dew’s lingering long into the mornings and the evenings are drawing in. It can only mean one thing – summer’s over.

For many of us, the adjustment from summer to autumn can be hard. One client hates the month of September; she describes feeling a sense of loss which she simply can’t shake off and therefore feels very low.

It’s not that strange really. After all, we’re part of nature and just as we feel energised when spring arrives, it makes sense that the reverse is true at a time when all around us, plants and trees are dying back ready for winter.

That said, there are ways to ease the adjustment from summer into winter if you find it difficult. Acupuncture has traditionally been used by the Chinese to help the body adjust between seasons
